We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Officer to join our team.

A Day in the Life

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Officer/Groundsperson to join our property maintenance team. In this physical role, you will proactively move around the resort undertaking various general maintenance tasks and repairs to keep the resort property in great condition. The role is focused on ensuring that the day-to-day requirements are delivered to a consistently high standard and that the appropriate level of service to members, guests and visitors is maintained. 

You will be Responsible for...

• Perform general maintenance to RACV property buildings to ensure that equipment, fittings, and fixtures are maintained in a safe and operational condition, with minimal interruption to the operation of the business. 
• Ensure that tasks are carried out within the required time frames.
• Proactively identify maintenance issues and regularly assess property conditions to appropriately schedule maintenance tasks.
• Assist in carrying out or overseeing the preventative and periodic maintenance of all plant, equipment, and buildings of the RACV property.
• Ensure that work area presentation is always at the agreed standard, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Perform specialised service methods.
• Achieve RACV ‘best practice’ operating standards by maintaining up to date knowledge and adhere to all standard operating procedures. 
• Supervise contractors and monitor performance and assist with the management of relationships with third party suppliers, regulatory bodies, industry bodies, and internal service suppliers.
• Support a member first culture that delivers excellent service to all by demonstrating a ‘can do’ attitude and identify opportunities to improve service delivery using appropriate feedback processes.

We’re Looking For…

• Handyman skills e.g., carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing.
• Literate in building management systems, and property databases.
• Ability to quickly build a rapport and develop internal and external networks. 
• Ability to manage time and resources.
