About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Administration Officer, to join our dynamic administration team and play a pivotal role in the delivery of accounting and administrative functions at RACV Royal Pines Resort. You will be responsible for overseeing a dedicated team in finance, purchasing and HR administration, to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to guests and internal departments.

Reporting to the Resort General Manager, you will lead a high performing administration team to support the business objectives, provide timely and accurate information and uphold service excellence. Your key responsibilities for the role include:
- Lead, motivate and support a team in performance development, reviews and recruitment, fostering a collaborative work environment
- Oversee the operational processes for the ordering, receipt, storage, rotation and distribution of goods
- Direct and facilitate the delivery of financial and administration functions in procurement, accounts receivable and payable, inventory control & HR processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy and compliance
- Plan and coordinate the reporting process and provide suitable financial and non-financial information and analysis to assist with the performance management of the business
- Maintain accurate financial information, payments, forecast planning, systems and end of month reporting
- Assist with internal and external audits to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
- Maintain effective communication and relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Attend meetings and events that support effective business relationships
- Develop a knowledge of property facilities, industry trends and growth strategies
What you'll need to be successful
- Tertiary qualifications in business finance or accounting, essential
- CPA or CA, desirable
- Demonstrated experience in a senior finance management role, preferably in the hospitality or service industry environment
- Understanding of a hotel/resort and multi outlet operation, managing food & beverage inventory and cost control processes
- Understanding and knowledge of financial and accounting processes including procurement, accounts receivable and payable, strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting and cost control
- High-level computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and accounting systems, SAP desirable
- Solid understanding of staff management practices including recruitment, rewarding, appraising, counselling and staff development
- Clear communication and negotiation skills with stakeholders
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical, time management and the ability to problem solve effectively
- Excellent personal presentation
