About the Opportunity

 

Are you ready to take the next step in your hotel career and create a clear pathway for future growth? We are seeking a Front Office Supervisor to join our premium resort, renowned for its high-volume leisure, conference and events business. Working within our large vibrant Rooms Division team, you’ll help lead Reception, Concierge, Guest Services and Reservations, to deliver exceptional guest experiences every day, while developing your leadership capability in a busy resort environment.

As Front Office Supervisor, you will support the Front Office Manager and Duty Managers, in overseeing daily operations while leading from the front, working alongside the team during high-volume periods. The role is central to delivering consistently high-quality service to guests. You will contribute to the delivery of the property’s vision and objectives by ensuring operational excellence, maximising accommodation bookings and driving continuous improvement across Front Office processes. Your key responsibilities include:

 

  • Oversee the smooth daily operations of front office, to lead, coach and inspire team members through hands‑on, front‑line leadership
  • Support team development through coaching, mentoring, training and performance feedback to develop skills and career progression
  • Support the effective use of human, operational and financial resources
  • Deliver consistently high standards of guest service within a fast‑paced, large leisure, conference and events resort environment
  • Monitor daily operations to ensure tasks are completed on time, presentation standards are upheld and service expectations are met
  • Maximise accommodation bookings and provide tailored solutions for individual, group and event bookings
  • Proactively drive continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery, processes and operational efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with all SOPs, company policies and relevant legislation
  • Promote a safe, supportive workplace in line with Health, Safety and Wellbeing standards

 

 

What you’ll need to be successful

 

  • Full availability and flexibility to work a 7 day rotating roster between 6am-11pm, including work weekends and public holidays, essential. Example shift times 6.30am-2.30pm & 2.30pm-10.30pm
  • Demonstrated experience in a front office guest services position within a 4-5 hotel/resort environment, essential. Front Office Supervisor experience, advantage
  • Passion for the hospitality industry and a developed understanding of hotel and front office operations and procedures
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and PMS experience, Opera desirable
  • Effective people leadership skills in coaching, training and developing teams
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Hold or be eligible to obtain a WWCC Blue Card
  • Professional grooming and personal presentation
