About this opportunity

Are you passionate about hospitality service? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Food & Beverage Attendant, to join our professional F&B outlets team working in a variety of dining outlets, including Panorama & Hydrate, to deliver barista & bar beverage service. You will be flexible, showcasing your warm hospitality and customer service skills in a 5 star resort environment.

This role is ideal for someone with barista & bar beverage service skills who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding service to guests. Our friendly food & beverage team deliver a high standard of customer service with a positive ‘can do’ attitude and a helpful approach. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Greet & interact with guests

• Prepare and serve beverages, including barista machine operation, mixing drinks, cocktails, pouring beer, wine, and non alcoholic

• Menu knowledge & explanation, order taking, table service, set, clear and clean tables

• POS, Eftpos and cash handling

What you’ll need to be successful

• Flexibility to work a variety of day, afternoon & evenings shifts between 5am-2am, including weekdays, weekends and public holidays

• Previous experience in food and beverage service, with barista and bar skills, in a 4-5 hotel/resort or similar premium environment 

• Confident barista and bar knowledge and skills - machine operation, carry drinks tray to seated guests, bar set up & close, mixing drinks, cocktail preparation, knowledge of beer strengths & wine varieties

• Professional communication and customer service skills with attention to detail

• Proactive attitude and a team player who contributes positively to team culture and morale

• Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures

• RSA Certificate essential
• Excellent grooming & personal presentation
