About this opportunity

Are you passionate about hospitality service? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Food & Beverage Attendant, to join our professional outlets team working throughout a variety of dining outlets, including Kalinda breakfast buffet, Arika poolside dining or Panorama lobby cafe. You will be flexible, showcasing your warm hospitality and customer service skills in a casual dining resort environment.

Our friendly food & beverage team deliver a high standard of customer service with a positive ‘can do’ attitude and a helpful approach. In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

• Greet & interact with guests

• Menu knowledge & explanation, order taking, table service, set and clear tables
• Barista coffee making and food & beverage service

• POS, Eftpos and cash handling

What you’ll need to be successful 

• Availability & flexibility to work from 5am, on a 7 day weekly rotating rostering including weekends & public holidays, availability and flexibility to work 3+ days per week is ideal

• Food & beverage service experience in a 4-5 hotel/resort or similar hospitality environment - order taking, table service carrying 3 plates of food and a tray of drinks 

• RSA Certificate, essential
• Experience working in a large busy fast-paced environment, attention to detail, clear communication and interpersonal skills

• Barista machine coffee making skills

• POS & EFTPOS experience

• Work well independently or in a large team environment
• Excellent personal presentation
