About this opportunity

Are you passionate about hospitality service? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Food & Beverage Attendant, to join our professional outlets team working throughout a variety of dining outlets, including Kalinda breakfast buffet, Arika poolside dining or Panorama cafe. You will be flexible, showcasing your warm hospitality and customer service skills in a casual dining resort environment.

Our friendly food & beverage team deliver a high standard of customer service with a positive ‘can do’ attitude and a helpful approach. In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

• Greet & interact with guests
• Take orders and table service
• Set and clear tables
• Menu knowledge & explanation
• Barista coffee making and beverage service
• POS, Eftpos and cash handling

Our team work a variety of shifts from 5am on a 7 day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays. Full availability and flexibility to work 3+ days per week is ideal.

What you’ll need to be successful 

• Availability & flexibility to work from 5am, on a 7 day weekly rotating rostering including weekends & public holidays
• Food & beverage experience in a hotel/resort, golf club or similar environment
• Experience working in a busy fast-paced environment, table service carrying 3 plates of food and a tray of drinks 
• Barista skills
• POS & EFTPOS experience
• Attention to detail, clear communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• QLD RSA Certificate, essential
• Excellent personal presentation
