Are you passionate about exceptional dining experiences and Japanese cuisine? Join our professional team at RACV Royal Pines Resort in Arakawa Restaurant as a skilled Food & Beverage Attendant.

Arakawa is currently undergoing a major refurbishment and will reopen in December for dinner service, with a fresh new look, as a contemporary Japanese restaurant, blending tradition with innovation to create an extraordinary dining experience. We celebrate the art of Japanese cuisine and teppanyaki, bringing modern creativity to the table, whilst our guests enjoy fresh, authentic flavours and a lively, immersive atmosphere.

Our friendly food & beverage team welcome guests with a smile and play a vital role in creating unforgettable experiences for our guests. From recommending dishes to delivering impeccable service, you'll be part of a dynamic team that takes pride in showcasing great service and contemporary Japanese flavours with a twist. In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

• From greeting to farewell, provide attentive service, interact and obtain feedback from guests
• Presenting menu, providing detailed menu knowledge, explanation & taking orders
• Communicating clearly with the kitchen
• Food & beverage table service, set up & clearing of tables
• Reconciliation the check/bill, POS & EFTPOS

What you’ll need to be successful 

• Food & Beverage a la carte restaurant experience in a fine dining setting or hotel/resort multi-outlets environment, Japanese or Asian cuisine an advantage
• Availability & flexibility to work in multi-outlets on a 7 day rotating roster evenings, weekends & public holidays
• Current QLD RSA Certificate
• Experience working in multi-outlets, fast pace team environment, carrying 3 plates of food and a tray of drinks for table service 
• Beverage menu knowledge of wine varieties, beer, spirits & cocktails
• POS & EFTPOS experience
• Attention to detail, excellent communication skills & the ability to interact with guests in a friendly and attentive manner with a desire to deliver a polished & high standard of service
• Excellent personal presentation
