About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Pastry Demi Chef, to join our creative pastry team in the main production kitchen at RACV Royal Pines Resort.

In a large hotel kitchen environment, you will be an integral part of our kitchen brigade, collaborating with other chefs. You’ll help to set a high standard, by displaying a passion for pastry cuisine and the motivation to deliver an exceptional food experience to our guests. You will take pride in your work, producing innovative desserts, pastries, cakes, bakery products & petits fours whilst practicing hygienic and safe food handling procedures.
What you’ll need to be successful

Availability to work a flexible 7-day rotating roster, weekdays, weekends, evenings & public holidays
- Completed Certificate 3 in Patisserie qualification, recognised in Australia

Experience as a pastry chef in a 4-5 star hotel/resort, or similar environment

Good knowledge of pastry and baking techniques & passionate about the pastry trade to produce quality cuisine
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment, proactively and work autonomously

Thrive in a large, busy & fast paced work environment, with efficiency, organisation, time management and attention to detail
- Excellent grooming and personal presentation
