The RACV Property Team maintains and protects RACV’s diverse property portfolio, including our premium hotels and resorts. We ensure our properties, building services and critical assets are safe, compliant, reliable and presented to a first-class standard.

About the Opportunity

Do you have experience in facilities coordination? Based at RACV Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast, this newly created role reports to the QLD/TAS Facility Manager and works closely with resort and hotel leaders, maintenance teams, contractors and the broader Property Team.

This role is referred to as a Facilities Coordinator in the industry. At RACV, we refer to this role as Building and Services Operations Supervisor. Combining facilities oversight with practical problem solving, you’ll help coordinate routine maintenance, support capital works and asset replacement activity, provide technical guidance and act as a hands-on escalation point for complex or recurring building and services issues.

The focus is not on managing every operational detail. It’s about bringing the right people together, removing roadblocks and making sure agreed actions are completed, in a fast-paced environment where presentation, reliability and responsiveness directly support the guest experience.

You’ll also support contractor performance, building compliance, asset management, lifecycle planning and property improvement activity across the portfolio.

This is an autonomous, hands-on role working across the business, identifying improvement opportunities and supports the strategic asset planning. Your key responsibilities include:

• Support facilities operations across RACV Royal Pines Resort, RACV Noosa Resort and RACV Hobart Hotel
• Help prepare, manage and forecast operating and capital budgets
• Champion RACV’s asset and maintenance system, INFORM, including training and support for contractors and operational teams
• Complete regular site inspections to check assets, buildings and grounds are maintained to a high standard
• Support asset lifecycle planning and delivery of the Rolling Asset Replacement Program (RARP)
• Coordinate contractor engagement, inductions, permits, risk assessments and performance management
• Support building compliance, audits, emergency management programs and statutory obligations
• Support energy efficiency, water conservation and sustainability initiatives across the portfolio
• Act as Deputy to the Facility Manager and provide operational leadership when needed
• Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, body corporates, suppliers, contractors and service providers

What you’ll need to be successful

You’ll be practical, organised and proactive, with the ability to work across multiple properties and balance competing priorities. To be successful you will have:

• Experience in hotel or resort facilities coordination, building operations, property services or a similar multi-site environment
• A current Australian Driver Licence and the ability to travel regularly to Noosa and Hobart, including overnight stays
• Availability for occasional after-hours support for operational emergencies and critical business needs
• A Diploma of Facility Management, or a qualification in OHS, electrical or mechanical engineering, will be highly regarded
• Experience coordinating contractors, including inductions, permits, risk assessments, supervision and compliance
• An understanding of building compliance, risk management, workplace health and safety and emergency management
• Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, security and broader building services infrastructure
• Experience using CMMS, asset management, building management or preventative maintenance systems, and MS Office applications
• Exposure to basic project coordination, such as tracking actions, following up tasks and supporting small works through to completion
• Comfort working with budgets, reports and basic financial information, with good organisation and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder skills, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities across multiple sites
