About the Opportunity

 

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Administration Officer to join the finance team and assist with the accounting and administration functions for the resort.

 

This role requires availability four days week, 8am-4pm, with Mondays & Thursdays being essential. There is flexibility around the remaining two days.

 

This could be just the right role for you?

 

The Administration Officer reports to the Finance Admin Manager and performs the accounts receivable functions for the resort. Day to day, you will work closely with the other resort departments such as front office, spa, golf & dining outlets, to provide finance support. Your key responsibilities for the role include:

 

  • Process invoices and payments accurately
  • Send invoices and reconcile debtor accounts
  • Monitor and follow up overdue invoices
  • Identifying potential unrecoverable debts, issuing letters of demand, recovering outstanding payments and escalating non-payment issues to management

 

What you'll need to be successful

 

  • Previous demonstrated experience in an accounts, finance or bookkeeping position, essential
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial information including accounts receivable & payable
  • Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance or business, desirable
  • Attention to detail, strong analytical, numeracy and literacy skills and the ability to resolve issues
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Intermediate computer skills including keystroke efficiency & MS Office applications – excel, word & outlook
  • SAP & PMS Opera experience, desirable
  • Excellent personal presentation
