A day in the life

You will play a key role in our purchasing team, ensuring the smooth operations of the supply of goods so they are received and distributed accordingly.

You will be required to:

• Liaise closely with staff for purchasing requirements and process purchase requisitions when required
• Receive, carefully check and store goods in line with procedures and regulations
• Communicate any discrepancies to those concerned in a timely manner
• Maintain effective & productive relationships with suppliers
• Maintain an awareness of stock levels and accurately process issue requests in a timely manner
• Keep a clean, safe and organized work environment and comply with workplace health and safety standards
• Prepare for and assist in the monthly stocktake by ensuring all outstanding invoices and credits have been received and accurate counts are performed
• Heavy manual lifting will be required
• Working space based within the loading dock
