About the Opportunity

A permanent part‑time Food & Beverage Supervisor opportunity is available within Conference & Events at RACV City Club.

 

Reporting to the Conference & Events Manager, this role is responsible for coordinating Conference & Events operations and overseeing a team of Food & Beverage Attendants to ensure seamless event delivery.

You will be the face of the business and main point of contact for conference and event organisers, working closely with internal stakeholders to deliver a consistently high standard of service. This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring strong organisation, time management, relationship‑building and people development skills.

 

As a leader, you will help set service standards by demonstrating a genuine passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences for clients and guests. A proactive, motivated and can‑do attitude will see you thrive in this fast‑paced events environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and supervise daily Food & Beverage operations within Conference & Events

• Oversee and support Food & Beverage Attendants to ensure service standards are consistently met

• Act as the key operational point of contact for members, guests, event clients and internal stakeholders

• Coordinate staffing, service flow and event priorities to ensure smooth operations

• Lead by example, fostering a positive, professional and engaged team culture

• Support training, coaching and development of team members

• Ensure compliance with service standards, policies and procedures

 

What you’ll need to be successful

• Previous experience in a Food & Beverage Supervisor role within Conference & Events, banqueting or premium hospitality

• Experience within a 4–5 star hotel, club, resort or convention‑style venue highly regarded

• Strong communication skills with excellent attention to detail

• A confident, hands‑on leadership style with a focus on team development

• Strong organisational and time management skills

• A positive attitude, strong work ethic and genuine passion for hospitality

• Flexibility to work a rotating 7‑day roster, including evenings and weekends
