About the Opportunity 

If you're passionate about cooking and eager to build your culinary career, this is a fantastic opportunity to join our talented kitchen team. Our Bistro Kitchen delivers a diverse operation, from extensive buffet breakfasts through to a la carte lunch and dinner service, providing excellent exposure to a variety of cooking styles and techniques.

Working alongside experienced chefs, you'll assist with food preparation, service delivery and maintaining high kitchen standards while developing your skills across multiple sections. This role is ideal for a qualified chef looking to gain valuable experience in a professional kitchen environment and continue learning from industry professionals.

You'll be part of a supportive team that values quality, consistency and teamwork, while contributing to memorable dining experiences for our members and guests.

 What you’ll need to be Successful

  • A qualification in Commercial Cookery (Certificate III or equivalent) and/or relevant kitchen experience

  • A genuine passion for cooking and developing your culinary skills

  • Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations and food safety practices

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality food

  • A positive attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • Excellent organisation and time management skills

  • Willingness to learn and work across different kitchen sections

  • Flexibility to work across a rotating 7-day roster, including weekends, evenings and peak holiday periods

  • Full working rights in Australia
