About the Opportunity 

As a Commis Chef, you'll be a vital part of our kitchen team, helping to deliver high-quality dishes and an excellent dining experience for our members and guests. You'll work alongside experienced chefs, refining your skills in various sections of the kitchen, from butchery and baking to maintaining a clean and efficient workspace. This is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to grow your culinary career with a company that values teamwork, professional development, and quality.

 

What you’ll need to be Successful

  • Recognised culinary training such as Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience

  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment, with a la carte experience ideal

  • A genuine passion for cuisine with a strong focus on food quality and presentation

  • Solid foundation in food preparation, basic cooking techniques, and mise en place

  • Ability to work well under direction while maintaining consistency and standards

  • Strong awareness of food safety, hygiene, and correct kitchen practices

  • Flexible availability to work across a seven day roster including weekends and peak holiday periods

  • Full working rights in Australia
