About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Administrative Officer, who is a Data Entry Superstar, to join our team at our Melbourne location. In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of our leisure division.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing all functions relating to accounts payable, including supplier onboarding, receiving, coding, processing invoices to ensure efficient payment of accounts

  • Performing all functions relating to accounts receivable, including checking and sending invoices, reconciling debtor accounts and monitoring & follow up overdue invoices

  • Reconcile daily takings and preparation of cash/cheque deposits

  • End of month preparation including prepayments, accruals and float checks

Other Administrative tasks as needed

Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum two years’ experience in accounts payable or receivable

  • Comprehensive understanding of financial information including accounts receivable, payable & cashiering

  • Qualification in accounting, finance or business, desirable

  • Outstanding Computer skills especially accounting software like SAP / Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong analytical, numeracy and literacy skills, excellent time -management skills

  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment

  • High attention to detail and ability to resolve problems
