About the opportunity
RACV Noosa is a five-star resort renowned for delivering exceptional residential conferences, incentive-style programs, and social and community events. We are seeking an experienced Senior Conference & Events Coordinator to join our high-performing, multi-million-dollar department.
This pivotal role is responsible for managing event information from contract through to flawless execution, ensuring every detail is delivered seamlessly and client expectations are not only met, but consistently exceeded.
About the role
Reporting to the Conference & Events Sales Manager, you will turn ideas into exceptional event experiences. You will take ownership of the planning and delivery process, ensuring each client’s vision is brought to life through seamless coordination and strong stakeholder collaboration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, contractors, internal departments and key stakeholders
- Planning and coordinating events in line with client expectations, providing professional advice and guidance where required
- Maintaining in-depth knowledge of property operations, products and services
- Preparing event orders, attending meetings, resolving issues, and clearly communicating event information to all stakeholders
- Managing administrative functions including invoicing, forecasting, budgeting and reporting
- Reviewing client feedback and preparing detailed post-event reports
What you’ll need to be successful
- Minimum two years’ experience in a Conference & Events Coordinator role
- Strong understanding of customer service standards and effective client relationship management
- Passion for events, with knowledge of industry trends and food and beverage operations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, time management and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to occasionally work outside regular hours or attend industry events
- High standard of personal presentation
