About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and people-focused Housekeeping Team Leader to lead our housekeeping operations during allocated shifts. Previous housekeeping or resort experience is not essential — if you’re a natural leader who enjoys supporting and motivating others, we can train you in the technical aspects of the role.
This position plays a vital part in ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, productivity and team wellbeing are consistently achieved. Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:

Supervise and coordinate Public Area Attendants and Housepersons to ensure daily plans, business objectives, and guest expectations are met efficiently.

Providing hands-on leadership that fosters a safe, supportive and motivated team environment.

Directing and assisting the housekeeping team to complete daily tasks to a consistently high standard.

Onboarding, training and supporting team members in line with RACV policies and procedures.

Monitoring cleanliness and productivity, ensuring all rooms are guest-ready by 2:00pm.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 38 hours per week.
Shift patterns are typically:

6:00am – 2:00pm or
-
8:00am – 4:00pm
Weekend availability is essential.
What you’ll need to be successful

Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office experience is an advantage, but not essential).

A willingness to learn — full training will be provided.

Full working rights in Australia.

A valid Australian driver licence (essential).
Previous housekeeping, hotel or resort experience is not required.
