About the Opportunity

 

Bring your passion for food to one of Noosa’s leading resorts. As a Chef de Partie, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences across breakfast, à la carte, events and high-volume service. Working alongside a talented culinary team, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your creativity, refine your skills and contribute to a kitchen that prides itself on quality, consistency and guest satisfaction.

As a Chef de Partie, you will report to the Executive Chef and be supported by other senior members of the kitchen brigade.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Preparing and serving a consistently high-quality product

  • Managing stock rotation and minimising wastage

  • Overseeing and performing operational duties within your section

  • Working across all areas of the kitchen operation as required

 

Roster flexibility is highly regarded. Typical shift will be 5:30am–1:30pm

 

What you’ll need to be successful 

 

  • Previous Demi Chef or Chef de Partie experience

  • A Commercial Cookery qualification, recognised in Australia

  • Demonstrated cookery experience with well-developed knife skills

  • Ability to thrive in a large, busy and fast-paced kitchen

  • Capacity to safely lift up to 20kg and perform repetitive manual tasks

  • Full working rights in Australia

 

Bakery or pastry experience will be highly regarded, particularly experience supporting breakfast service, desserts or high-volume production.
