About the Opportunity

 

Do you have dreams of becoming a qualified chef? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 1st or 2nd Year Apprentice Chef to join our talent team of chefs in a professional and large resort environment.

 

This could be just the right role for you? 

 

As a 1st or 2nd Apprentice Chef, you will continue your culinary journey and be guided by our skilled and experienced chefs, learning hygienic & safe work practices, food handling, food preparation, knife skills and methods of cookery. You will gain valuable knowledge and experience across various sections of our kitchen.

 

What you’ll need to be successful 

 

  • Full availability and flexibility to work various shifts a 7 day rotating, including evenings, weekends & public holidays

  • Passion and enthusiasm for cooking & developing your culinary skills

  • Reliability and commitment to completing a certificate 3 cookery qualification

  • Clear communication skills and work well in a team environment

  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn, can follow direction, show attention to detail & take pride in work
