The Role

  • Inverloch, Victoria | RACV Inverloch Resort  

  • Employment Type – Casual 

  • Regular shifts on Mondays and Fridays with some other midweek shifts

  • $33.44 casual rate + penalties on weekends

A day in the life

  • Carry out general maintenance of resort fixtures and fittings including, but not limited to, painting, carpentry, minor plumbing works, changing of light globes and tubes, cleaning duties and receiving stock deliveries.

  • Carry out the day to day activities required to maintain the resort grounds and gardens at the highest standard and condition with minimal disruption to business operations

  • Attend to guests and members technical enquiries; 

  • Liaise with internal departments such as front desk reception and housekeeping to assist with general room maintenance;

  • Maintain the workshop and storerooms in a clean and tidy manner and maintain all tools and equipment in a safe manner;

  • Other duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager.

  • Possesses strong problem-solving techniques, initiative and demonstrates ability to plan, manage time and resources efficiently;

  • Can work unsupervised and within a team environment, at times fast-paced, demonstrating a positive attitude and communicating effectively;

  • Has excellent customer service and organisational skills; and

  • Plays an active role in ensuring a safe and sustainable working environment, adhering to RACV health and safety policies and procedures.
