  • Permanent full-time leadership role at RACV Inverloch Resort

  • Lead a supportive Front Office team in a dynamic resort environment

  • Enjoy RACV benefits, including discounts across RACV products and services

Great Things Start Here

Step into a hands-on leadership role at RACV Inverloch Resort, where no two days are quite the same.

As our Duty Manager, you’ll play an important role in the day-to-day running of the resort, supporting our Front Office team and helping create a welcoming, seamless experience for our members and guests.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced hospitality supervisor or Duty Manager who enjoys being visible, jumping in where needed and supporting a team to deliver great service.

About the Role

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you’ll help oversee resort operations during your shift and provide hands-on leadership across Front Office and other operational areas as required.

You’ll be someone the team can turn to for guidance, while also being confident making decisions and resolving issues as they arise.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Leading and supporting the Front Office team throughout your shift

  • Ensuring members and guests receive a consistently high level of service

  • Supporting daily Front Office and resort operations

  • Stepping into Front Desk duties when required

  • Responding to guest feedback and resolving issues in a timely and professional way

  • Working closely with teams across the resort to keep operations running smoothly

  • Supporting team training, development and on-the-job coaching

  • Monitoring presentation, safety, security and operational standards

  • Assisting with emergency procedures and ensuring a safe environment for guests and team members

As a seven-day resort operation, flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and non-standard business hours is essential.

About You

You’re a calm and confident hospitality professional who enjoys being part of the action. You know how to support a team, think on your feet and make sure guests feel looked after, even when things don’t go exactly to plan.

You’ll bring:

  • Previous supervisory experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within hotels, resorts or hospitality

  • Strong knowledge of Front Office operations

  • Confidence leading, coaching and supporting a team

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • The ability to manage guest feedback and challenging situations professionally

  • An understanding of hotel or resort night operations

  • The ability to respond calmly and effectively in an emergency

  • Experience providing on-the-job training

  • A current driver’s licence

  • First Aid qualifications, including defibrillation and anaphylaxis

Experience using OPERA or a similar hotel booking system would be an advantage, as would an RSA and relevant hospitality or tourism qualifications.

Most importantly, you’ll be a team player who is comfortable getting involved and helping wherever needed.
