About the role
As Chef de Cuisine, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the kitchen at RACV Inverloch Resort, ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and exceptional guest experiences. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll guide and develop your team, drive operational excellence, and contribute to the ongoing success of the resort.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading, coaching and motivating a high-performing kitchen brigade
- Delivering consistent, high-quality food across restaurant, events and functions
- Managing kitchen operations including rostering, stock control and ordering
- Contributing to menu development and continuous improvement initiatives
- Driving cost control and supporting the financial performance of the kitchen
- Maintaining strong food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards
- Collaborating across the resort to enhance the overall guest experience
About you
You’re a passionate and experienced culinary leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys developing teams and delivering quality outcomes.
You will bring:
- Experience in a senior kitchen leadership role (Chef de Cuisine or similar)
- A background in 4–5 star hotels, resorts or high-volume venues
- Strong technical capability across all kitchen sections
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, coach and inspire others
- Solid organisational and financial management skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach with attention to detail
- Relevant Commercial Cookery qualifications
