About the role

As Chef de Cuisine, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the kitchen at RACV Inverloch Resort, ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and exceptional guest experiences. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll guide and develop your team, drive operational excellence, and contribute to the ongoing success of the resort.

 

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading, coaching and motivating a high-performing kitchen brigade
  • Delivering consistent, high-quality food across restaurant, events and functions
  • Managing kitchen operations including rostering, stock control and ordering
  • Contributing to menu development and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Driving cost control and supporting the financial performance of the kitchen
  • Maintaining strong food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards
  • Collaborating across the resort to enhance the overall guest experience

 

About you

You’re a passionate and experienced culinary leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys developing teams and delivering quality outcomes.

You will bring:

  • Experience in a senior kitchen leadership role (Chef de Cuisine or similar)
  • A background in 4–5 star hotels, resorts or high-volume venues
  • Strong technical capability across all kitchen sections
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, coach and inspire others
  • Solid organisational and financial management skills
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with attention to detail
  • Relevant Commercial Cookery qualifications
