About the Opportunity

There is an excellent permanent full-time opportunity for a driven, motivated Conference and Events Coordinator to join the events team at the RACV Hobart
The role:

Professional communication with clients to obtain and understand their event requirements

Comprehensive coordination of group bookings

Creating Event Order documents to be distributed both internally and to clients

Working with internal departments to ensure all your client’s details are accounted for

Obtaining payment, sending deposit reminders and managing your own event accounts

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume venue where you will manage up to 10 events per week
What we are looking for:

A passion for events and a desire to learn and improve on event management skills

A proven track record of exceeding client expectations

Professional customer service etiquette
-
Naturally tech savvy and efficient with administrative duties

Self-motivated and ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment

Experience in OPERA Sales & Catering is desirable
