We’re growing our team and seeking for a passionate Head Spa Therapist, someone who would love to advance their skills and work alongside dedicated team members that take pride in creating memorable treatment experiences for our guests.
About the Role
12-month fixed term contract
As a Head Spa Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering premium spa treatments while leading the technical and professional development of the therapist team. You’ll work closely with the Spa Manager and Spa Host to ensure smooth daily operations, high service standards and strong commercial outcomes.
This role suits a confident leader who thrives in a coaching-focused environment, enjoys sharing knowledge and has proven experience in a senior or leadership position within a spa or wellness setting.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in a Head Spa Therapist, Senior Therapist or leadership role
- Demonstrated ability to train, mentor and develop other therapists
- Strong technical expertise across beauty and spa treatments
- Confident communicator with the ability to lead, coach and influence
- Customer-focused with strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills
Technical Expertise
- Advanced facials and skin analysis
- Massage (multiple modalities)
- Body therapies
- Use of electrical and electronic spa equipment
Qualifications
- Diploma of Beauty Therapy or Diploma of Massage Therapy (or equivalent)
- Previous spa brand or academy training
- Working With Children Check
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (highly desirable)
- First Aid and OH&S certification (or willingness to obtain)
