We currently have a rare and exciting career opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Turf Tradesperson to join the team on a full-time basis.

A day in the life
Our Turf Tradesperson is responsible to maintain our resort grounds and to ensure our superbly manicured greens and fairways always provide excellent year-round playing conditions.

 In the role, you’ll report directly to the Course Superintendent. You’ll use your strong communication skills and promote team morale to work with your fellow Grounds colleagues.  

We’re looking for…

• Certificate III in Sports Turf Management (equivalent or higher)

• Physical capability to perform manual work

• Follow and implement safe workplace practices

• Experience in all aspects of Golf Course maintenance

• Be competent with use and maintenance of a wide range of turf machinery 

• Experience and knowledge of chemical and fertiliser application

• Experience with irrigation system use maintenance and troubleshooting

• Able to follow instructions and work autonomously. 

• Able to work in a team environment. 

• Punctual with good attention to detail.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and help develop staff (desirable)
