The Role
We are seeking a proactive, strategic, and results-driven Conference & Events Sales Manager to drive business for RACV Goldfields while also contributing to the success of our nationwide RACV Conferences & Events portfolio. In this department head position, you will:
- Develop and nurture key client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and converting leads into successful events.
- Sell beyond your property, collaborating with our wider RACV Conference & Events sales team to drive business across all RACV resorts and clubs.
- Lead and inspire the on-property C&E team, overseeing sales performance, event coordination, and the seamless execution of bookings.
- Drive revenue growth through strategic cross-selling, upselling, and negotiation.
- Manage the full event sales cycle, from initial inquiry to post-event analysis, ensuring client satisfaction and business success.

What You’ll Bring
- Proven success in MICE sales, business development, and event management.
- Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills, with a strong sales focus.
- Experience leading a team in a sales or senior event coordination role.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to drive revenue growth and achieve targets.
- Strong knowledge of event management, food & beverage operations, and hospitality sales.
- Business acumen, including experience in forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning.
This role is based on a 38-hour workweek, with the expectation that additional hours, including occasional weekends, may be required at this level of management.
