About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Officer/Groundsperson to join our property maintenance team. In this physical role, you will proactively move around the resort undertaking various general maintenance tasks and repairs to keep the resort property in great condition, which includes our cabins, caravan & camping sites, property grounds, pool, children's playground, camp kitchen, laundry facilities and more.

As a Maintenance Officer/Groundsperson, your key responsibilities include:
- General property & building maintenance & repairs, painting, pool maintenance, general plumbing/drainage, water system, air-conditioning split systems maintenance, gardening & landscaping, planting, mowing & general cleaning
- Operating the tractor to move caravans on/off site & through the resort, drive company vehicles and truck (under 12 tonne)
- Interact with guests to provide a high standard of customer service
- Use tools, equipment and maintain OHS standards adhering to polices and procedures
- Maintain a clean and tidy work space
This role is full-time 38 hours week. Flexibility is required to work weekdays, weekends & public holidays. Start & finish times may vary, depending on the business needs.

What you’ll need to be successful
- Previous experience and knowledge in a Maintenance/Groundsperson role in a resort, or similar environment
- Drivers Licence, LR or MR truck licence
- Tractor operation and towing experience, desirable
- Pool maintenance, landscaping, gardening, irrigation knowledge & skills, highly desirable
- Strong communication, time management, attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Competent computer skills including MS Office, email, record keeping, reporting is required
- Ability to work well in a team or independently, performing active physical duties, including heavy lifting up to 20kgs
- A positive attitude & approach to work, enthusiastic, flexible/adaptable & excellent personal presentation
