A day in the life
As a Food and Beverage Attendant, you’ll play a central role in creating memorable experiences for our guests at RACV Cobram Resort. In this dynamic and hands-on position, you’ll be on your feet, using your excellent customer service skills to ensure every guest enjoys their time in our café.
Your main duties will involve carrying out the daily tasks required to keep the café running smoothly, as well as responding to guest requests and general enquiries.
You’ll be rostered according to business needs, with shifts spread across a 7-day rotating roster. Availability on weekends is essential to meet peak service times.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering outstanding customer service to all guests, ensuring a welcoming and positive café experience.
- Preparing and serving high-quality coffee and a range of beverages using a commercial coffee machine.
- Efficiently serving food and drinks, maintaining speed and accuracy during busy periods.
- Keeping the café and reception areas clean, tidy, and well-organised at all times.
- Supporting daily operations, including stock rotation, inventory checks, and accurate cash handling.
What you’ll need to be successful
- Proven experience in a fast-paced café or hospitality environment, with strong barista skills and the ability to confidently operate a coffee machine.
- A genuine passion for hospitality, with a focus on delivering excellent service to every guest.
- A current VIC RSA Certificate.
- Exceptional communication skills, a friendly and approachable manner, and the ability to quickly build rapport with guests and colleagues.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays as part of a rotating roster.
