About the Opportunity
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Purchasing Officer to support the procurement and inventory needs of our property. This role is integral to ensuring the timely and accurate ordering, receipt, and distribution of goods - including food, beverage, and general supplies across all departments. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to service delivery, which will contribute to the smooth functioning of the property and enhance the experience of members, guests, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the ordering, receipt, and issuing of stock for all departments, ensuring accuracy in quantity, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure timely placement of orders with vendors and maintain professional supplier relationships.
- Accurately record and maintain inventory documentation and supplier communications.
- Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Support a member first culture that delivers excellent service to all by demonstrating a ‘can do’ attitude and identify opportunities to improve service delivery

What We’re Looking For
- Demonstrated experience in a store or purchasing role within a hotel, resort, or similar setting, with hands-on involvement in stock ordering and handling.
- Professional communication skills and the ability to build effective supplier relationships.
- A strong understanding of food safety and storage practices, with HACCP awareness.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, presentation, and workplace safety.
