About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll play an important role in maintaining the resort's buildings, infrastructure, plant and equipment to the highest standards. You'll work across a variety of maintenance tasks, helping to ensure an exceptional experience for our members, guests and visitors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing general repairs and maintenance across resort facilities
- Proactively identifying and resolving maintenance issues
- Assisting with preventative maintenance programs for buildings, plant and equipment
- Maintaining property presentation and ensuring work areas meet safety standards
- Working collaboratively with operational departments to support resort operations
- Coordinating and supervising contractors when required
- Supporting workplace health, safety and environmental initiatives
- Assisting with continuous improvement activities and maintenance projects
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in delivering quality outcomes and has a strong focus on customer service.
You'll have:
- Previous experience in building or property maintenance
- Broad handyman skills across areas such as carpentry, painting, plumbing or general repairs
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive approach with strong attention to detail
- A commitment to workplace safety and best practice maintenance standards
- A current driver's licence
Highly regarded:
- Trade qualifications in Electrical, Carpentry, Plumbing, Mechanical, Refrigeration or Gas
- Experience in hotel, resort or hospitality environments
- Knowledge of building management systems, HVAC or aquatic facilities
