At RACV Cape Schanck Resort, we’re proud to deliver exceptional experiences to our members, guests and visitors. As a Golf Shop Assistant, you’ll be part of a friendly, professional team that helps bring our championship course and premium leisure facilities to life every day.

About the Role

This is a hands‑on, service‑driven role at one of Victoria’s most spectacular golf destinations. You’ll support the daily operation of the Golf Shop and leisure areas, ensuring every member and guest receives the warm, knowledgeable and reliable service RACV is known for.

From assisting with tee times and retail enquiries to supporting golf events and maintaining shop presentation, you’ll play a key part in creating memorable experiences at Cape Schanck.

Please note this is a permanent part time position.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver friendly, timely and knowledgeable service to members and guests.
• Manage golf course access, payments, retail enquiries and equipment hire.
• Maintain Golf Shop presentation and ensure accurate handling of stock and takings.
• Support golf events and work collaboratively with other resort departments.
• Stay informed on golf rules, handicapping and industry trends.
• Assist across other leisure areas, including food and beverage service when required.
• Promote safe work practices and contribute to a safe, welcoming environment.

What You Bring

• Experience working in a golf course environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Understanding of golf rules, etiquette and equipment.
• Customer‑focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Flexibility to work across a 7‑day roster, including weekends.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid driver’s licence.

Desirable

• Experience with POS, EFTPOS or MICLUB systems.
• Knowledge of merchandising, marketing or F&B service.
• Understanding of resort or hotel operations.
• First Aid or OH&S certification.
