RACV Cape Schanck Resort is a premium coastal destination overlooking world‑class golf courses and ocean views. We’re currently seeking a warm, professional and service‑focused Front Office Receptionist to join our welcoming Front Office team.
About the Role
As the first point of contact for members and guests, you’ll deliver friendly, professional service while managing front desk operations and accommodation enquiries. Working in a supportive resort environment, you’ll help bring RACV’s member‑first promise to life at every interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests throughout their stay
- Manage reservations, check‑ins, check‑outs and enquiries
- Answer calls and manage correspondence
- Process payments accurately and in line with RACV procedures
- Upsell and promote accommodation and resort services where appropriate
- Liaise with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Complete daily front office administration and shift duties
About You
You are a naturally welcoming and organised professional who enjoys being the first point of contact for guests and members. You take pride in delivering thoughtful, personalised service and remain calm, friendly and professional, even in busy or unexpected situations. With a strong eye for detail and the ability to confidently manage multiple tasks, you understand the importance of accuracy, presentation and follow‑through in a front office environment.
You enjoy working as part of a close‑knit team and are always willing to step beyond your core responsibilities to support the overall guest experience. You bring a flexible and positive approach to shift work, including weekends and public holidays, and take pride in being part of a seven‑day resort operation. Whether assisting with bookings, resolving enquiries or recommending resort experiences, you are driven by creating memorable moments and genuine connections with every guest.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in customer service or hospitality (front office experience preferred)
- Strong communication, interpersonal and numeracy skills
- Professional presentation and customer‑focused mindset
- Familiarity with hotel systems (e.g. OPERA) and MS Office is desirable
