About the Opportunity

As National Business Development Manager reporting to the Sales & Partnership Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the operational and sales development activities related to third-party finance introducers based nationally, ensuring they meet RACV Finance's operational and business requirements.

You will build and sustain strong relationships with these introducers, ensuring RACV's reputation is upheld and enhanced through all interactions with both internal and external stakeholders. You will also manage the identification and reporting of compliance concerns, maintain and monitor compliance with CCC, FSR, and other relevant legislation, and work actively with compliance teams to provide necessary third-party information.

 

This position requires a proactive approach to ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with aggregators, brokers, credit, and compliance teams to ensure the achievement of business objectives.
  • Drive operational effectiveness of business processes by engaging with stakeholders and leading and implementing change where relevant
  • Build and maintain a positive and reciprocal relationship with key internal stakeholders to support organisational goals.
  • Communicate business issues, insights and initiatives to the team including but not limited to pricing, process and industry trends.
  • Champion the Finance Company's vision by embedding a culture aligned with RACV Values and the Code of Conduct.
  • Support the Sales & Partnership Manager in the development, implementation and scoping of new services within the business unit and broader department

 

Who we’re looking for and what you’ll bring

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Finance, Business or related discipline
  • Minimum 5+ years in Finance or related automotive industry
  • Experience in managing a 3rd party network/portfolio
  • Extensive expertise in broader finance industry with a deep understanding of market dynamics and trends.
  • In depth knowledge of the Personal Loan credit process and risk assessment, ensuring effective financial decision making.
  • Comprehensive understanding of NCCPA, Credit Act, Privacy Act, Trade Practices Act, AML/ CTF/ PEP and other applicable legislation
  • Demonstrated supportive leadership capability, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
