About the Opportunity
Reporting to the National Sales & Partnership Manager, you will lead, motivate and develop a team of Lending Specialists to deliver strong sales performance, exceptional customer experiences and compliant lending outcomes. You'll play a key role in fostering a culture of accountability, ownership and continuous improvement while managing day-to-day operations and supporting broader business initiatives.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Leading, coaching and developing a team of Lending Specialists to achieve sales, service and operational KPIs.
- Building a high-performance culture through regular coaching, mentoring, performance management and development planning.
- Driving business growth through achievement of team budgets, loan conversion targets and portfolio retention outcomes.
- Managing inbound and outbound lending enquiries and supporting consultants with complex member interactions.
- Handling escalated customer complaints and ensuring resolution in line with internal dispute resolution requirements.
- Monitoring quality assurance outcomes and maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance.
- Overseeing team operations including workforce planning, rostering, service levels and productivity.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer outcomes.
- Recruiting, developing and retaining talent while supporting succession planning initiatives.
- Working collaboratively with Finance leadership and key stakeholders to achieve strategic business objectives.
What You'll Bring
- Demonstrated experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams.
- Experience within finance, lending or other related finance environment.
- Strong understanding of consumer lending principles, customer service and sales performance management.
- Experience managing KPIs, quality assurance, service levels and operational performance.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to drive change, influence outcomes and manage competing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving, organisational and decision-making skills.
- A customer-first mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Knowledge of lending compliance and regulatory obligations, including NCCP, AML/CTF and Privacy requirements.
