About the Opportunity 

 

The UX Lead will work in a strategic capacity to drive and progress our digital experience agenda. You will need to balance the needs of the customer, business viability and technical feasibility. Working closely with all facets of the organisation, we require someone experienced at relationship building, influencing and storytelling.  

We are looking for a UX Lead who can lead and deliver through a collaborative design process and improve the existing digital experiences. You will lead and motivate a multi-disciplinary team of subject matter experts to deliver value to the organisation.

You’ll be instrumental in ensuring our Digital Experience team delivers exceptional service. Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be doing: 

 

  • Own, deliver and execute end to end Digital Experience design from conception through to launch and ongoing iteration and improvement 

  • Use customer and member insights to drive and guide development of new/improved member experiences and offerings 

  • Ideate and create conceptual wireframes, user flows and IA 

  • Lead and mentor younger design practitioners to foster their professional development 

  • Contribute to evolving and maturing the RACV design practice through process improvement and knowledge sharing 

  • Manage functional expenditure and resource within relevant policy and delegation frameworks 

  • Make decisions, clear roadblocks and negotiate trade-offs to ensure maximum impact for Members and the business 

 

Who we’re looking for and what you’ll bring 

 

Thrive in an environment where people are at the heart of everything. You’ll come with: 

 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Industrial Design/Graphic Design/Fine Arts/UX Design or related fields 

  • 10 years’ experience in the application of design to real world problems  

  • Excellent problem-solving ability, analytical skills and ability to manage competing issues 

  • Exposure to Salesforce and the ability to utilise SharePoint (highly desirable) 

  • Proficiency with a range of digital design and product management tools including: Jira, Confluence, Figma and Miro 

  • Experience designing for enterprise technology stakes such as Adobe Experience Manager 

  • Proven track record in leading customer-driven transformation and digital native product and experience teams
