About the Role
Join a high-performing tax team where you’ll play a key role in delivering tax compliance, reporting, and advisory support across a large and diverse organisation.
This is a hands-on role with strong exposure to both technical tax work and business partnering.
This position is a 12 month fixed-term contract for Parental leave cover.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver corporate tax compliance and reporting, including year-end tax provisions and income tax returns for assigned group entities
- Manage GST, FBT, and Payroll Tax obligations, including lodgements, reconciliations, and analysis
- Partner with stakeholders across the business, providing practical, commercially focused tax advice
- Support financial reporting year-end deadlines, ensuring accurate delivery under tight timeframes
- Review work prepared by junior team members and contribute to team capability development
- Drive process improvements and maintain tax policies, procedures, and systems
About You
- CA or CPA qualified with 5–8 years’ post graduate experience in tax
- Strong background in Australian corporate tax compliance and tax effect accounting
- Hands-on experience across GST, FBT, and Payroll Tax
- Commercially minded, with the ability to translate technical tax issues into practical advice
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
