About the Opportunity
The Acquisition Integration (AI) Team sits within RACV’s CFO Division. In addition to supporting Merger & Acquisition transactions that RACV undertakes, the AI Team has the responsibility of ensuring RACV meets their legislative requirements on sustainability reporting.
As the Senior Reporting Specialist, you will leverage your management consulting skills to play an integral role in leading the interpretation of legislative and regulatory requirements and developing new processes, procedures and solutions to fulfill RACV’s disclosure obligations and reporting requirements. A key area of focus will be Australian Account Standards Board’s (AASB) Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS) and the National Greenhouse Energy Reporting (NGER) Scheme. This may involve a range of people, process, legal and technology considerations. You will then drive the delivery of any mandated reporting that arises.
The Senior Reporting Specialist will also be involved in building and embedding fit for purpose sustainability related capabilities to set up RACV up for ongoing success.

You’ll be instrumental in ensuring our Acquisition Integration team delivers exceptional service. Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be doing:
- Interpreting applicable legislation and understand the impacts, considerations and requirements from an RACV perspective
- Drive the design and implementation of new policies, processes and procedures as necessary to meet reporting requirements, working with people across the business as necessary
- Work with different stakeholders across the Group, to extract all necessary data and inputs to complete reporting requirements
- Lead the gathering of appropriate inputs by partnering with internal and external data providers to ensure that high quality data is provided to support required reporting
- Maintain all supporting documentation such basis of preparation and standard operating procedure documentation, and ensure they are up to date and audit ready
- Support the coordination of any required external audits requests for reports within remit
- Deliver required reports within the timeline expected and to the highest quality
- Remain up to date with developments within target field/s, across legislative and regulatory landscape to ensure RACV remains aware of upcoming requirements
Who we’re looking for and what you’ll bring
Thrive in an environment where people are at the heart of everything. You’ll come with:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
- Minimum 6 years work experience in a professional environment; in consulting field highly advantageous
- Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience working in Sustainability/climate-related reporting field
- Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience with Sustainability related reporting frameworks and standards such ISSB S1, S2, Greenhouse Gas Protocol, Sustainability Development Goals
- Experience with outsourcing, shared services, project based worked
- Demonstrated experience creating reporting models from the ground up financial models to quantify business opportunities
- Strong communications (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Highly proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint
