As Senior Learning Experience Designer, you’ll partner closely with the Learning Manager and OC&L Leadership team as a trusted advisor, scoping, designing and delivering high‑impact blended learning solutions that align to business priorities and build enterprise capability.

 

Drawing on deep expertise in digital learning, market trends and industry best practice, you’ll create engaging, high‑quality learning experiences that champion continuous learning, support RACV’s current and future capability needs, and equip our people with the skills and confidence to deliver strategic goals. 

 

As part of the Organisational Learning & Capability team, you’ll also help establish and embed learning design standards, tools and processes that lift the quality and consistency of learning across the organisation.

 

 

Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll be doing

 

  • Partnering with stakeholders to conduct Learning Needs Analyses and clearly document learner and business requirements
  • Identifying opportunities to continuously improve RACV’s learning solutions and enhance the learner experience
  • Designing and implementing learning solutions that drive behaviour change and performance uplift
  • Capturing and documenting learning requirements, ensuring SME engagement throughout design, development and delivery
  • Leading the selection and application of digital learning technologies
  • Creating and embedding design standards and guidelines for RACV’s digital and blended learning solutions
  • Designing and facilitating evaluation approaches to measure learner engagement and capability uplift
  • Applying RACV’s course design standards, procedures and pedagogical practices aligned to our learning strategy
  • Ensuring learning experiences actively engage learners from start to finish

 

 

What you’ll need to be successful

 

  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (preferred)
  • Degree or higher in Adult Learning (preferred)
  • Formal qualifications in digital content design and/or adult learning
  • Strong experience developing digital learning for blended programs across multiple domains
  • Exposure to UX/UI principles (advantageous)
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience developing SCORM-compliant courses using a range of digital tools
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Experience with Vyond and audio editing tools
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Proven ability to partner with stakeholders to create interactive, engaging learning experiences
  • Experience managing Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Comfortable working within an iterative, agile design process
