About the Opportunity

 

The Senior Learning Experience Designer will collaborate closely with the Learning Manager and OC&L Leadership team to foster and embed a strong learning culture across RACV.

As a seasoned learning specialist and advisor, you will be responsible for scoping, identifying, and delivering optimal blended learning solutions that align with business objectives and drive enterprise capability uplift. Through consultation and collaboration with key stakeholders, you will champion the value of continuous learning and deliver high-quality learning experiences that equip our people with the skills and confidence to successfully execute RACV’s strategic goals.

With expertise in digital learning, you will play a pivotal role in shaping enterprise capability for both current and future needs. This includes designing and developing engaging blended learning solutions that reflect market trends, industry benchmarks, and digital best practices. Within the Organisational Learning & Capability Team, you will also contribute to the implementation of learning design standards - developing tools, templates, and processes that elevate internal learning design and development quality.

Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be doing:

  • Consult and engage with various stakeholders to conduct Learning Needs Analyses to ensure all audiences and their needs are scoped and documented 
  • Proactively seek opportunities for continuous improvement relating to RACV’s current learning solutions to deliver an improved learner experience
  • Implement learning solutions that meet business objectives, change behaviours and improve performance
  • Capture and document all learning requirements ensuring SME involvement throughout the design, development and implementation process 
  • Lead the selection, application, and development of technology in respect to digital learning
  • Create and embed design standards and guidelines for RACVs digital and blended learning solutions
  • Design and facilitate effective evaluation for measuring learner engagement and capability uplift  
  • Implement RACV’s course design standards, procedures and pedagogical practices that apply to RACV’s learning strategy
  • Identify the best ways to ensure learners are active and engaged for the duration of each learning program  

 

What you’ll need to be successful

 

  • Certificate 4 in Workplace Training and Assessment. (Preferred) 
  • Degree or higher in Adult Learning. (Preferred) 
  • Formal qualifications in digital content design and/or adult learning  
  • Expertise in developing digital learning for blended programs across multiple verticals
  • Exposure to UX/UI advantageous. 
  • Have at least 4 years demonstrated experience developing SCORM-compliant courses using a variety of digital tools 
  • Expertise in Adobe CC Suite including Photoshop & Illustrator 
  • Experience with Vyond and audio editing tools
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Experience partnering with stakeholders to create interactive learning elements and engaging activities utilising a range of techniques  
  • Management of Learning Management System (LMS) platforms   
  • Understand and be comfortable working within an iterative design process
