About the Opportunity
As Senior Financial Accountant you will be responsible for the co-ordination and preparation of RACV Insurance Services and RACV Foundation Pty Ltd statutory and external reporting. You will play a key role in the Group statutory and financial reporting process by assisting in the preparation of the Group statutory accounts and monthly capex reporting.

You’ll be instrumental in ensuring our Financial Controls team delivers exceptional service. Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be doing:
- Fixed asset accounting, including monitoring and reporting of fixed asset activities, capital projects and fixed assets advice
- Coordination of property valuation activities, revaluation calculations, adjustments and related reports
- Preparation of the monthly Group cash flow statement and balance sheet for inclusion in the Group Board report
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting, accounting and general ledger practices
Who we’re looking for and what you’ll bring
- Completed a degree in Accounting / Commerce / Business
- CA/CPA qualified
- Detailed knowledge of statutory reporting requirements and accounting standards, including IFRS
- Knowledge of accounting systems and general tax legislation
- Demonstrated experience in accounting and capitalisation of fixed assets in a large complex organisation
- Highly developed written and verbal skills including formal presentations
- Strong analytical skills and with a keen attention to detail
- Financial modelling and a focus on continuous improvement
- Experience working in an accounting firm or within an internal finance team
