As our Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming complex financial information into meaningful insight that drives performance across the Group. Working at the intersection of finance, strategy and data, you'll partner with senior leaders to influence key decisions, strengthen financial stewardship and help shape RACV's future.

 

Reporting to the Head of Planning & Performance, this is a highly visible opportunity for an experienced finance professional who thrives on collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.

 

 

What you'll be doing

 

  • Lead the end-to-end Group month-end reporting cycle, including timetables, journals and eliminations
  • Prepare and deliver Leadership Team and Board performance reporting packs
  • Monitor financial performance against budget and forecasts, identifying trends, risks and opportunities
  • Develop meaningful insights and recommendations that influence strategic and operational decisions
  • Own and coordinate the annual business planning and forecasting processes across the Group
  • Build and maintain robust planning frameworks, controls and governance processes
  • Partner with stakeholders to drive accountability and alignment to business objectives
  • Act as a trusted advisor to General Managers and Heads of across the business
  • Provide commercial insights, analysis and decision support to senior leaders and the CFO
  • Build strong relationships that position Finance as a valued strategic partner
  • Translate complex financial information into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Own the accuracy and integrity of Group financial reporting data
  • Partner closely with the Data, Strategy & Analytics team to ensure confidence in reporting outputs
  • Drive automation and process improvement initiatives across reporting, planning and forecasting
  • Design and enhance financial models, reporting tools and performance dashboards
  • Support acquisitions, new products and business changes through effective reporting integration

 

 

 What you'll bring

 

  • 7+ years' post graduate experience across financial planning & analysis, commercial finance, business analysis
  • CA or CPA qualification (preferred)
  • Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline
  • Extensive experience with analysis and reporting
  • Strong experience in Group consolidation, financial reporting and forecasting
  • Advanced financial modelling, budgeting and performance analysis capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders across a complex organisation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to closely parter and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to tell compelling stories through data
  • Experience with SAP ERP, Advanced Excel, Power BI and reporting tools
  • Tableau experience will be highly regarded
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for simplifying and automating processes
