As RACV continues to transform how we connect with our Members, Customers and Prospects, we're looking for a highly skilled Senior Developer (CDP & Marketing Automation) to help drive the next generation of personalised experiences.

 

Sitting within our Data, Strategy & Analytics division, you'll play a pivotal role in advancing RACV's audience and marketing technology capabilities, leveraging platforms including Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and Adobe Experience Platform (AEP). You'll design and activate sophisticated audiences, build automated customer journeys, and help turn data into meaningful, scalable engagement across the entire customer lifecycle.

 

Working alongside Technology, Marketing, Digital, AI and Product teams, you'll influence how RACV delivers proactive, data-driven personalisation at scale, helping millions of customer interactions feel more relevant, timely and valuable.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with deep expertise in SFMC and/or AEP who is passionate about pushing the boundaries of marketing technology and customer engagement.

 

 

Key responsibilities 

 

  • Design, build and activate audiences to support omnichannel engagement (email, SMS, push, web, paid media and more)
  • Develop and manage automated, trigger-based customer journeys across SFMC and/or AEP
  • Configure and maintain data ingestion, transformations and automation processes
  • Ensure reliable, scalable and compliant campaign delivery across all channels
  • Manage subscriber data, audience quality and platform governance (including privacy and consent frameworks)
  • Monitor campaign performance, deliverability and data health (managing and resolving issues as required)
  • Support reporting and tracking of personalised communications and campaign outcomes
  • Act as a SME across CDP and marketing automation in cross-functional initiatives.

  

 

What you’ll bring 

 

  • Strong hands-on experience in marketing automation and/or customer data platforms
  • Technical expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Adobe Experience Platform / Real-Time CDP
  • Experience building and managing audiences, segmentation, and 1:1 customer journeys
  • Strong SQL capability and experience with data management and integrations
  • Experience working with cloud data platforms (e.g. Azure, Snowflake or equivalent)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Confident stakeholder engagement and ability to work across cross-functional teams
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and outcomes-focused

 

 

 Highly regarded 

 

  • Experience across both SFMC and AEP
  • Knowledge of AMPscript, SSJS, HTML/CSS (SFMC) or AEP tooling (XDM, identity, Web/Mobile SDK)
  • Experience with A/B testing and optimisation
  • Relevant Salesforce or Adobe certifications
