Reporting to the Continuous Improvement Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Continuous Improvement professional to play a key role in driving process and system enhancements across our Finance Operations function.
Working across billing and finance operations, you will lead and support initiatives that improve customer invoicing, renewals, payment methods and payment channels, ensuring our processes continue to evolve in line with customer expectations and business needs. Acting as the bridge between business and technology teams, you will translate complex business requirements into practical solutions that deliver measurable outcomes for customers, members and employees.
What you'll be doing
As a Senior Continuous Improvement Analyst, you will
- Review and analyse end-to-end billing and finance processes to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness and customer experience.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using LEAN and process improvement methodologies.
- Facilitate workshops to identify opportunities, define future-state processes and drive solution outcomes.
- Elicit, document and validate business and system requirements, particularly across ERP and finance-related platforms.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs, risks and operational requirements.
- Support business case development, risk assessments and recommendations for process and system enhancements.
- Develop user stories, functional requirements and documentation to support delivery and testing activities.
- Oversee transition-to-support activities and ensure successful embedding of changes into business-as-usual operations.
- Participate in post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement activities to drive ongoing optimisation.
- Collaborating with delivery teams to support sprint planning and testing activities.
- Creating and maintaining test cases and estimating testing effort.
- Reviewing test outcomes and refining requirements where required.
- Monitoring test progress and ensuring testing standards are consistently applied.
- Participating in retrospectives and continuous improvement reviews to drive better delivery outcomes.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings and presentations to ensure stakeholders remain informed and engaged.
What you’ll bring
- Tertiary qualification in Business/Commerce, IT or related discipline with business analysis/ continuous improvement qualifications essential.
- Senior Business Analyst certification
- 2+ years of proven experience in continuous improvement analytical experience from a similar role, including business analysis.
- Previous experience leading a team directly reporting into you
- Prior experience in solution design activities such as prioritisation, traceability, and documentation are essential.
- Experience in working within the Finance or Insurance industry.
- Extensive experience in requirements gathering, business analysis, project initiation and scoping
- Strong knowledge of systems such as ERP and Salesforce
- Experience in Process Mapping modelling
- Strong knowledge of tools such as Atlassian, Office 365, process modelling tools such as Visio and draw.io essential.
- Strong knowledge and experience of a broad range of IT technologies, processes, and delivery methods (Agile and Traditional “Waterfall”) preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Demonstrated project management skills
