The Senior Business Analyst (Senior BA) role will focus on supporting RACV’s Mobile App Squad across project and BAU delivery, helping shape integrated native mobile solutions, mobile customer experiences and dynamic content experiences in a fast-paced Agile-Scrum environment. 

About the role 

Reporting to the BA Practice Team Leader, the Senior Business Analyst will play a critical role within RACV’s Mobile App Squad, supporting both project and BAU delivery. This role will bridge business, product, design and technology teams to analyse mobile app customer journeys, define clear requirements and support delivery of native mobile solutions, dynamic content experiences and member-focused digital outcomes in a fast-paced Agile-Scrum environment. 

• Lead scoping, planning, analysis and documentation activities for mobile app initiatives, enhancements and BAU squad work, working closely with Product Owners, UX/UI, architects, developers, testers, digital SMEs and business stakeholders. 

• Analyse mobile app customer journeys, business processes, systems, integrations, platform constraints and operational impacts to define clear current-state and future-state requirements. 

• Support analysis and design of native mobile app capabilities, including integrated native mobile solutions, platform-specific functionality and dynamic content experiences. 

• Facilitate requirements elicitation workshops and translate findings into high-quality business requirements, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, non-functional requirements and measurable outcomes for mobile app features. 

• Produce clear analysis artefacts, support documentation and knowledge transfer materials that enable delivery, training, support and transition into BAU. 

• Apply strong Senior BA practices, including process modelling, requirements analysis, stakeholder engagement, facilitation, dependency management, traceability and communication across complex digital delivery environments. 

• Work effectively in fast-paced Agile-Scrum squads, supporting story refinement, backlog readiness, sprint planning, delivery ceremonies and collaboration with cross-functional teams. 

• Use tools such as Jira, Confluence, Office 365, Visio or draw.io, and other collaboration tools to support Agile product delivery and clear communication of requirements. 

• Contribute across a range of mobile app project and BAU initiatives, from small enhancements through to medium and enterprise-scale digital implementations in a regulated, service-driven environment. 

Who we’re looking for and what you’ll bring

Thrive in an environment where people are at the heart of everything. You’ll come with: 

• 5+ years’ experience as a Senior Business Analyst or Business Analysis Practitioner supporting end-to-end technology, digital product, project and BAU squad delivery. 

• 2+ years’ demonstrated experience analysing, designing and delivering native mobile app solutions is essential, including a strong understanding of native mobile capabilities, integrated mobile solutions and mobile-specific customer journeys. 

• Knowledge of Google Material Design and Apple Human Interface Guidelines, with the ability to apply mobile UX analysis principles to requirements, user stories and solution design discussions. 

• Core Senior BA capabilities are essential, including stakeholder engagement, facilitation, requirements elicitation, process analysis, user story writing, acceptance criteria definition, dependency management, traceability, communication and influencing skills.
