Great things start here

Join our team of business professionals doing meaningful work in an organisation that’s ever evolving. Work with people who care and expand your career with opportunities only a diverse business can provide. With license to see things through your way, and the option to split your time between office and home, RACV is where you’ll make a difference.

About the Opportunity

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to play a key role in delivering membership subscription initiatives with a strong focus on home-related products and services. This role supports strategic growth and optimisation of RACV’s membership offerings, ensuring solutions are customer‑centric, scalable, and deliver tangible value for members.

Partnering closely with senior business and technology stakeholders, you will apply strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills to shape and deliver initiatives across the end‑to‑end subscription lifecycle. Your work will contribute to evolving how members engage with RACV’s home services while supporting broader enterprise transformation objectives.

Come along for a new journey

As a senior member of our Program Management team, you’ll help drive high-quality delivery across both strategic and operational initiatives. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Lead end-to-end business analysis activities including scoping, planning, requirements gathering and process documentation across waterfall, hybrid and agile delivery environments.
  • Work extensively on Membership and subscription-related initiatives, supporting regulatory, operational, digital and product transformation projects.
  • Support data analysis and marketing journeys by considering and commercial modelling insights  and the impact on serviceability, eligibility and personalisation of communication.
  • Conduct detailed stakeholder and impact analysis across processes, people, technology and ways of working.
  • Map and design business processes, delivering clear current-state (as-is) and future-state (to-be) models.
  • Facilitate workshops to elicit business and Technology (including Digital) requirements and translate them into refined, actionable outputs.
  • Define business metrics, acceptance criteria and success measures to guide solution delivery.
  • Produce high-quality documentation including business requirements, epics, user stories, integration specifications and dependency mapping.
  • Develop user-facing artefacts such as work instructions, guides and training materials.
  • Support transition to BAU, preparing handover documentation and ensuring smooth operational readiness.

Who we’re looking for and what you’ll bring

You’ll thrive in a collaborative, people-centred organisation where members are at the heart of everything we do. You’ll bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst (or similar) working on complex, end-to-end technology and business transformation initiatives.
  • Insurance industry and/or subscription experience (required) — with strong knowledge of Membership processes, systems, products or regulatory environments.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering analysis for Membership projects,
  • From discovery through optimisation—designing customer‑centric, scalable subscription experiences, navigating complex stakeholder and system landscapes, and delivering measurable growth, retention, and engagement outcomes through continuous evolution rather than one‑off delivery.
  • Strong capability working in both agile and waterfall methodologies.
  • Salesforce and relevant job allocation system experience
  • Experience designing and shaping intuitive, accessible digital experiences by translating user needs and business objectives into clear, actionable requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, MIS or a related field (essential).
  • Experience in member-based or customer-centric environments (advantageous).
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.

There’s so much on offer when you join RACV with benefits including

  • Our flexible and informal work environment which helps bring balance between work and home.
  • Generous discounts on home and car insurance policies and RACV roadside care
  • Great discounts across all RACV resorts
  • Discounts from corporate partners that are updated monthly.
