About the Opportunity

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to play a key role in delivering major business and technology initiatives across RACV, with a strong focus on significant Digital and AI initiatives delivered by Agile-Scrum based Squads & Projects, with impacts ranging from simple to highly complex, across RACV.

Partnering closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll bring exceptional analytical, communication and problem-solving skills to shape solutions that deliver meaningful outcomes for our members, customers and people.

As a senior member of our Program Management team, you’ll help drive high-quality delivery across both strategic and operational initiatives. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Lead end-to-end business analysis activities including scoping, planning, requirements gathering and process documentation across waterfall, hybrid and agile delivery environments.
  • Conduct detailed stakeholder and impact analysis across processes, people, technology and ways of working.
  • Contribute to shaping and refining the delivery roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities and strategic outcomes.
  • Support cross‑team planning activities and help coordinate delivery sequencing across two separate AI streams.
  • Lead discovery, scoping, planning, analysis, and documentation for BA deliverables.
  • Document business processes, rules, requirements, benefits, dependencies, and risks.
  • Collaborate with stream Product Owners on backlog grooming, options analysis, and value definition and measurement.
  • Produce high-quality epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned with UX principles and Business Rules.
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis and facilitate workshops and Refinement Sessions
  • Map and document current‑state (as‑is) and future‑state (to‑be) business processes, workflows, and digital experiences.
  • Analyse business rules, dependencies, risks, and benefits associated with proposed changes.
  • Engage stakeholders across RACV (risk, compliance, legal, operations, etc.) to ensure alignment with required processes.
  • Collaborate with Squads to define success metrics and acceptance criteria.
  • Lead refinement and story elaboration sessions, participate in Scrum ceremonies run by Scrum Master.
  • Liaise with support teams to create user guides and training materials.
  • Provide transition documentation and support knowledge transfer.
  • Share insights and learnings with the BA Practice.

 

Who we’re looking for and what you’ll bring

You’ll thrive in a collaborative, people-centred organisation where members are at the heart of everything we do. You’ll bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst (or similar) working on complex, end-to-end technology and business transformation initiatives.
  • Working with AI solutions and an understanding of AI concepts such as machine learning, LLMs, generative AI, NLP, automation and predictive modelling. (highly desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of Atlassian Jira & Confluence, Office 365, Visio, PowerPoint, Figma, Miro, and draw.io.
  • Strong capability working in both agile and waterfall methodologies.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, MIS or a related field (essential).
  • Experience in member-based or customer-centric environments (advantageous).
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
