About the opportunity

 

As a Scrum Master, you'll play a critical role in supporting and helping to drive the successful delivery of a number of key strategic initiatives across RACV's core digital technology platforms, while fostering effective collaboration and delivery excellence across multiple cross-functional teams.

 

This is a delivery-focused Scrum Master role supporting cross-functional squads deliver complex initiatives across Salesforce, Mobile App and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platforms.

 

You'll be working closely with Project Managers, Product Owners, Engineers and Testers to keep delivery on track, remove obstacles, manage dependencies and ensure project milestones are achieved. While Agile practices are important, this role is suited to someone with a pragmatic approach who enjoys delivering outcomes and helping teams successfully execute project-based work in a complex enterprise environment.

 

 

Key responsibilities include

 

  • Partner closely with Project Managers, Product Owners and delivery teams to ensure projects are delivered to agreed milestones and timelines.
  • Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
  • Coordinate work across two cross-functional squads comprising Engineers, Testers, Product Owners and Project Managers.
  • Manage sequencing, dependencies, risks and impediments across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
  • Support effective backlog management and prioritisation activities in partnership with Product Owners.  
  • Drive transparency of delivery progress, risks and issues across project stakeholders.
  • Foster strong team collaboration and create an environment that enables teams to perform at their best.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance delivery effectiveness and project outcomes.
  • Help teams successfully navigate complex project delivery while maintaining focus on agreed project objectives and outcomes.

 

 

What you'll need to be successful

 

  • Previous experience in a Software Delivery role such as Scrum Master, Delivery Lead, Delivery Manager or Project Manager.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex technology, transformation or implementation projects.
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery practices and experience leading Agile ceremonies.
  • Proven ability to manage dependencies, risks, issues and competing priorities across multiple delivery streams.
  • Experience working within large, complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
  • A pragmatic, outcome-focused approach with a strong focus on delivery and meeting project deadlines.
  • A passion for project-based work and delivering tangible business outcomes.
  • Previous experience working with cross-functional technology teams delivering digital platforms and customer-facing solutions.
  • Experience working across Salesforce and/or Mobile applications will be highly regarded.
