About the Opportunity
As the SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and executing opportunities to improve RACV’s organic search rankings for key relevant terms and driving more quality traffic.
You will be accountable for the implementation of onsite and offsite optimisation best practice techniques and driving demand generation to all RACV digital properties. Through using your SEO experience and knowledge you will help improve the overall effectiveness of the RACV website and related digital platforms.
This role is responsible for the implementation of RACV’s SEO Strategy in conjunction with the wider business strategic objectives and requires strong collaboration with stakeholders to align and support business priorities.

You’ll be instrumental in ensuring our Marketing team delivers exceptional service. Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be doing:
- Implement the onsite and offsite SEO best practice techniques across all RACV digital properties.
- Facilitate enterprise wide SEO education and training and influence the role SEO plays in all digital content.
- Implement the SEO strategy for all RACV digital properties.
- Establish networks within Digital, Marketing and product teams to influence SEO opportunities and inbound traffic uplift.
- Monitor RACV digital properties and provide analysis, recommendations and liaise with business stakeholders to implement changes and uplift.
- Create proactive SEO data and insights and communicate out to the wider business.
- Establish link building and content audit and optimisation across core products.
- Support SEO / SEM overlay strategic opportunities, Google My Business management and ensure all reporting and recommendations are implemented meeting RACV quality assurance and guidelines.
- Reporting on the effectiveness of SEO activities to stakeholders and providing insights for future campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and changes with SEO and major search engines.
What you’ll need to be successful
- 3+ years’ experience as a SEO Specialist.
- Strong analytical abilities and quantitative skills.
- Strong planning and prioritisation skills with ability to manage competing demands
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline or equivalent industry experience
- Experience preparing and presenting ideas and recommendations to colleagues, managers and senior stakeholders to seek endorsement and support for initiatives.
- Focus on data-driven SEO analysis and optimisation
- Working knowledge of Search (SEM/SEO), UX, accessibility and customer experience.
- Proficiency with a wide range of technology tools, including:
- Google Search Console
- Analytics software
- SEO Tools
- Content management systems such as AEM
- Accessibility and Usability
- Agile project management tools, including Jira and Confluence
