About the Opportunity
Join RACV's Technology team and lead the evolution of our Quality Engineering and Intelligent Automation capability. You will be accountable for to advancing RACV from established test automation towards an automation-first, AI-enabled quality and engineering model. You will develop the strategy across test automation, performance engineering, and Robotic Process Automation, while shaping how emerging AI and Agentic capabilities are safely evaluated and adopted.
You'll lead a high-performing team, to embed scalable automation into CI/CD pipelines and improve delivery speed, reliability and quality. Partner across the enterprise to turn emerging technologies into governed and measurable capabilities.
What you’ll do
- Lead and deliver RACV's Quality Engineering, Performance Testing and Intelligent Automation strategy.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and develop the roadmap for AI-enabled automation coverage and emerging technologies.
- Drive automation-first practices and embed automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Build and mentor a team of automation and performance testing specialists.
- Provide governance and oversight of enterprise automation frameworks and RPA capabilities.
- Define clear measures of capability maturity and value, including automation effectiveness, delivery feedback, quality outcomes and performance assurance.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Architecture, Cyber Security and Delivery teams to improve quality outcomes.
What You'll Bring
- Minimum 8 years' experience in quality engineering, automation testing or software testing environments.
- Proven leadership experience managing automation and/or performance testing teams.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps and Agile delivery practices.
- Experience testing digital platforms, integrated applications and mobile solutions.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive quality outcomes across complex technology environments.
- Exposure to Salesforce environments, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and modern DevOps toolchains.
- Interest or experience in AI-enabled testing, intelligent automation or Agentic AI capabilities
Essential
- Demonstrated experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium/Java) and/or enterprise automation platforms (e.g., UiPath).
- Experience defining or governing automation frameworks and integrating automated testing into CI/CD delivery pipelines.
- Technical credibility across modern testing approaches, including user interface, application programming interface, integration and non-functional testing.
Desirable:
- Experience with performance testing methodologies and tools (e.g. LoadRunner, JMeter) would be highly regarded.
