About the Opportunity
As the Project Manager (PM), reporting to the Senior Product Manager, you will play an important role in driving consistent planning, management, delivery, and transition of projects across our business applications and wider technology initiatives.
Projects will be predominantly focused on automotive OEM customers requiring strong external customer stakeholder management, engagement and communication skills.
A strong grasp of Agile principles and frameworks like SAFe, Jira, Scrum, and Kanban is required. The PM will apply these to support iterative project management, encourage adaptive planning, and enable cross-functional teams to respond quickly to changes. Transparent communication and collaboration with all internal and external stakeholders are essential.

You’ll be instrumental in ensuring our Program Management team delivers exceptional service. Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be doing:

Connect project communications and reporting to strategic business initiatives.

Align projects to project methodology compliance standards set by the business.

Negotiate with project vendors to ensure project deliverables are completed, ensuring procurement activities are done in line with the approved delegations of authority.

Document Management – ensure that all project documentation conforms to the Project Management framework standards and is stored and maintained centrally within each project directory.

Produce project initiation documents for relevant projects, which confirm what is to be achieved, how, when, and within what constraints.

Produce, agree, and monitor individual project plans alongside the use of Agile practices

Identify and obtain any support and advice required for the management, planning, and control of the projects.

Communicate appropriate acceptance criteria for each project and associated deliverables.

Manage the production of deliverables to agreed scope, cost, timescale, and quality.

Manage project spend to budget and validate financial forecasts throughout the project lifecycle.

Assess each project’s progress against respective plans.

Financial Management – manage approved project budgets and ensure all project costs are tracked and reported. Maintain a forecast of expected costs to completion.

Risk and Issue Management – manage / report risks and issues associated with the delivery of the projects. Develop a mitigation plan for identified risks and issues.
Who we’re looking for and what you’ll bring

Tertiary degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field is essential

Certification in Project Management (Agile, Prince2 and/or PMBOK) (essential

Over 10 years of proven experience in end-to-end project management.

Experience with broad range of technology including demonstrated success in planning to business case stage and delivering complex digital or technical projects that bring significant change to the organisation

Extensive stakeholder management at multiple levels within internal and external organisations

Able to effectively manage discovery, scoping, estimation activities and the development of a delivery schedule during a business case phase

Expert in executing project delivery plans, scope, coordinating and managing project resource activities, schedules, budgets and deliverables

Experienced with effective management of project risks, issues and mitigation activities to ensure project deadlines, scope and quality measures are achieved
